HELP
Please contact us if you need help or assistance with an individual or group/family or litter of sick, injured, orphaned baby or abandoned Wild or Pet chipmunk(s) OR Squirrel(s). We can operate nationally, however, regretfully we are unable to collect animals outside of our own "catchment" area. Please do bear in mind that we are entirely volunteer run and rely on funding by donations. Therefore our time and resources are limited - someone will deal with your problem as soon as is humanly possible. If you are unable to bring an animal to us direct, we will try to link you with a local rescuer in your own area.
VERY IMPORTANT - IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING DO NOT TRY TO DEAL WITH THE PROBLEM YOURSELF WITHOUT HELP AND ADVICE!!

CHIPMUNKS AND SQUIRRELS IN DISTRESS FOUND IN THE WILD ARE VERY SUSCEPTIBLE TO COLD!
Cold and wet chipmunks / squirrels are likely to die. If at all possible, try not to use towel material for bedding, because of the loops that the claws can easily get tangled in. Please use a gentle, soft and finer material. Sick, injured or orphaned chipmunks /squirrels need to be kept warm constantly - absolutely ALL the time. If you have a heat-pad or an incubator, please do use it - as this type of equipment is of a great help. |
